Cassius Soares has been an active member of our parish community over the past three years and an important contributor to our mission here. His extensive training and experience through YWAM and Kerygma has been such a gift to us. Cassius launched and coordinated our Alpha Course which has brought much life to our community and introduced a new evangelising thrust to our mission. He has been an important voice on our Senior Leadership Team, helping us to develop our vision and strategy over the years. Cassius has also offered courses and mentoring for married couples, developed a men's sharing group, and is now leading the Following Jesus program aimed at young adults. Most importantly though, Cassius has a deep faith and is a wonderful witness of Gospel values to those around him. I am grateful for his friendship, and his strong leadership in our community.

As I have engaged with Kerygma ministries in various parts of the world, I have been consistently impressed with both the concept and the outworking of Kerygma. As well as their ministry within the Catholic church, it has helped myself and others gain understanding and engage more meaningfully with the Catholic world. I hope to see their ministry expand and grow across Australia and the world.
